IHHA will be hosting a Food Drive for the Christmas Holidays. This is something that we have done for the past ten years we and we want to continue the good will. It is inherent to all of us to be “thy brother’s keeper.”
Many individuals and their families suffer in silence due to the lack of food in their pantry and on their table. A large number of children go to school hungry every day. The percentages are high that you may actually know someone and are unaware that they or their family have food shortage issues. Many food banks and supporting agencies are at record lows for food supplies. Time for us to step up.
If anyone person or family would like to donate food, we will be at the IHHA park on Saturday, November 16th from 9am to 11am to take your donations. If you prefer to give a monetary donation, please make check payable to Catholic Charities. If you are unable to come to the park, contact me and I will pick up your donation.
